Domestic Violence
Legal Services Project

The Domestic Violence Legal Services Project (DVP) has been helping people request restraining orders for over 30 years.

With its team of staff and volunteers, DVP can help you prepare your Domestic Violence Restraining Order request and give you information about your options and the court process. Also, we can connect you to outside agencies for supportive services and provide referrals to other legal aid organizations. We do not provide legal advice or legal representation.

Our services are free.

We help people on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not provide appointments. We highly encourage coming early. We can provide services in languages other than English.
